Before you can sub in any area, you must complete and pass a background check fingerprinting through IdentoGo.  Once you submit your application, you will receive a link through email to make your fingerprinting appointment.  If you have previously completed fingerprinting for a Texas school district, you will be in the TxDPS Clearinghouse system and will not have to redo fingerprinting; however, if you wish to sub at the daycare, you will have to fingerprint through them as well.  Once you have completed all requirements, you will be added to the sub list.

 

If you would like to sub at the daycare, in maintenance, custodial, or transportation, complete the appropriate Substitute Application for that area.

 

You must complete the substitute training if you would like to sub in the classroom.  The district will post on its website and Facebook when substitute training will be held.  

 

Substitute Teacher

Non-Certified = $80.00 per day / $100.00 a day after 15 consecutive days/same teacher

Certified = $90.00 per day / $150 a day after 15 consecutive days/same teacher

 

Substitute Aide

$70.00 per day / $80.00 a day after 15 consecutive days/same aide
